Council of Lies is an adult adventure game set in a fantasy realm. It is being developed in Rpg Maker MV. The game is intended to feature (possibly) four story routes. You will take control of Marie as she goes on her adventure to uncover the truth behind her fathers death. Will you succeed where her father failed? Will she be the same adventurous girl if she does?

- Side character stories coinciding with the main story each having the ability for the main character to interact in.
- A clothing system allowing for different outfits to appear in the event of your choosing (based on certain conditions)
Stretch goals are not currently in place. Stretch goal development would add considerable time at the moment, which would make primary development untimely.

Game dead or team struggling to both work and communicate about the work? We won't know until they update something.
The game is bugged. Dialogs don't show up, as well as some menus. Then we get to reply 'yes' or 'no' without an accompanying question.
And the game crashes every now and then (playing on Linux Manjaro using Proton Experimental).
I am aware of the crashes, still something I am trying to work out.
As for the text, it's not showing because you hit "ctrl" and hid the dialogue box. If memory serves I had neglected to include that in the tutorial information, which will be rectified.
Well, the name of the character does show up, but there is no text box underneath in which the text should appear. And I do need to hit "Enter" yet to wind to continue the dialogue.
The Ctrl-key would hide the name-box as well, and probably not continue the dialogue upon "Enter".
